Bardingley Today
The Future

Welcome to the Bardingley Vineyard website. Our vineyard is attached to our home – a 13th century Wealden Hall House, in the Garden of England, Kent, just a few miles south of the county town Maidstone but a million miles away from 21st Century stresses and strains. We first moved to Bardingley in the summer of 2005, at which time the 'vineyard' was a jungle of brambles, wild roses, saplings, hawthorn, poplar and rabbit holes! In fact it was hard to believe from the estate agent's details that there WAS a vineyard!

So our project was not to plant a vineyard – it was, simply, to find one.

On the following pages we tell a little of the story of Bardingley’s re-birth, something we could not have done without the help and support of a lot of people – many of whom started off coming to help and who are now firm friends. You know who you are – thank you and Cheers!!
